Urgent Message. The American people do not have to be divided between "tree huggers and oilfield trash". Eco Logic LLC has a daunting mission "to help to bring all sources of energy together to provide energy to the U.S. and reduce our dependency on oil and gas from other countries while reducing our carbon footprint.". We can work together. The MMS understands this fact and has developed new regulations that became law in July of 2009. The law titled 30 CFR 285 are the regulations regarding leasing OCS waters to produce Alternate Energy Sources while protecting personnel, equipment and the environment in addition to offering Alternate Use of Existing Facilities. In Subpart H of 30 CFR 285, the MMS mandates that all lessees must have a Safety Management System (SMS) prior to moving forward with energy initiatives in the OCS.

In an ffort to be in the forefront and assist intersted parties, Eco Logic has completed the first draft of the required a Safety Management System (in addition to our other missions) to be approved by Garden State Energy and MMS in Herndon, Virginia. Eco Logic LLC hopes to have the opportunity to implement and manage the required SMS for the first Offshore wind farm in the OCS to be located approximately 16 miles off the South Jersey shore. (nor do we want it to...it is most of our livelyhoods...the way we feed and house and support our families).
